The broad focus of the lab is to use yeast as a model eukaryotic system to understand fundamental cell biology. We are interested in how endolysosomal compartments are organised, how cell surface membrane proteins are regulated through different intracellular trafficking pathways, and how cells respond to physiological stress (e.g. nutrient starvation, exposure to toxin).
